Being front of house in the Hotel, Catering and Hospitality Industry for almost 50 years with continuous fun and hard work in many prestigious venues including Leeds Castle, Warwick Castle, Earls Court and Olympia, I naturally progressed into becoming a Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies.

I thoroughly enjoy my role of Toastmaster at weddings and functions, and working with my new and old clients we develop a trusting and professional relationship, giving me the chance to enjoy myself and give pleasure to others, knowing that all the venues appreciate my past and present occupation

I have always known how to look after my clients and give them the confidence that when they have booked me they can relax and leave the running of the event in capable hands.

I am available for hire in a Professional Capacity as a Toastmaster for Weddings, Formal Dinners, Ladies Nights and any other formal occasion that will benefit from the presence of a Professional Toastmaster.

As with all Fellows of the Guild of International Professional Toastmasters, I will be covered by the Guild's liability insurance of up to £5M. This gives peace of mind to anyone booking one of the Guild's Toastmasters. 

I enjoy working with people and this will come through at all events. I believe it is essential to work together with the hotel or function rooms, the photographers, videographers, entertainers, bands and DJ’s. It is only by working together as a team that the guests will truly be able to enjoy the function. I passionately believe that a Toastmaster should not be pedantic, officious or act as the primary entertainer at an event.

Living on the Wiltshire / Hampshire border I am well placed for attending events in the West Country, Southern England, M4 & M3 corridors, and A34 corridor. However, I am willing and able to travel anywhere to help make your event an occasion to be remembered for all the right reasons.

Personal History

I joined the hospitality, catering and hotel keeping industry in 1970 and having acted as an unofficial Master of Ceremonies at weddings, dinners and other events, I now offer a Professional Toastmaster service as a Fellow of the Guild of Professional International Toastmasters (FGIntPT).

I am thoroughly enjoying doing things correctly and seeing great results and I look forward to supplying a quality, professional and enjoyable service to all my future customers.
